3 New Summer Fun Scents!

Hello Friends!

I hope that your holiday weekend was fantastic and the upcoming weekend is just as wonderful :)

A lot of things has been occurring at Paige’s Perfections and I’m writing to tell you all about it! For those of you who may or may not know, I have recently been a part of City College’s Lavender Fever Week (To raise proceeds for the National Coalition of Homeless Veterans), The Point’s, “Female Flava” workshop, and The Artisan Market in Brooklyn. As the summer is approaching, many different vending opportunities are arriving and with that, new fragrances as well! Ladies and Gents: Behold Paige’s Perfections’ 3 New Fragrances:

Love Spell. “I Put a Spell on You, and Now You’re Mine” A sultry combination of Cherry Blossoms and Citrus, infused with Orange and Grapefruit Essential Oils. Perfect to attract your Perfect match ;)

Sweet Earl Grey. This is my favorite new scent so far! This lovely blend of Black Tea leaves, Bergamot Orange rinds, Currants and Raspberry leaves create a sweeter version of the Classic Earl Grey tea we all know and love. Perfect for a lovely summer day.

Tropical Breeze. Enjoy the Summer sun with the exotic flavors of Pineapple, Banana, and Coconut combining to transport you to a tropical island to enjoy a calm, clear ocean breeze. Fruity but not overpowering, this wonderful scent is a must have for warm weather!

These wonderful scents are currently available on line via my Etsy Store :) In other news, Paige’s Perfections will be featured at The Point’s, Fish Parade on June 16th. More detailed information will be coming soon!

Remember to stay tuned for craft tips, tricks and promos. Until next time!

Female Flava @ The Point

The Point = Point Blank Amazing.

I have to admit, I am in love with The Point; a nonprofit Community Development Corporation dedicated to youth development and the cultural and economic revitalization of the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx [Edited Excerpt].

Being originally from the Bronx, it is wonderful to see people, especially youth, come together to make it a better place. A common stereotype of the Bronx is that it is ghetto and full of uneducated hoodlums. Although the Bronx does indeed have many ghettos, it is also beautiful, charming and has the potential for further greatness (I say “further” because I believe it is already great). The Bronx is like a Rose breaking out of concrete. A “diamond in the rough” so to speak. I can honestly talk forever about the Bronx and how wonderful The Point and other programs are that reach out to youth to teach about history, the arts, etc, however I will spare you a detailed read for another time.

I was at The Point on Saturday, May 14th, to celebrate Female Flava; an event dedicated to Women’s Empowerment. Fifteen percent of my proceeds were donated to The Point to support future programs like the one that I was apart of. The energy was ecstatic and everyone that I met (men, women and children) were amazing. It was such a warm feeling throughout the facility that if one was able to see its aura, it would be bursting with golden colors of unity. The Point is truly a blessing to the Bronx.
